Kulfi is an all time favourite of mine and of course many of us. Prepared homemade kulfi with minimum ingredients. The taste was awesome and the texture was creamy and above all very very yummmmmmyyyy.
INGREDIENTS :
Milk     1/2 lt
Sugar     3 spoons
MTR Badam milk powder   3-4 spoons
Badam and pista  each 2 spoons (crushed coarsely)
Cardamom powder    1/4 tsp
Cornfour    2 tsp
Bread     3 slices.
METHOD :
Boil milk till it reduces to 3/4th quantity.Boil in a wide vessel. Each time it boils push the cream layer (paladai)
to the sides of the vessel. And later on scrap it.
Cut the sides of the bread. Mix cornflour with 2 tbsp of water and keep aside.
Put the bread slices in mixie and run once or twice.
To the milk add badam powder, sugar, nuts, bread powder, cardamom powder and cornflour and boil till it thickens. The mixture should coat the back of the laddle when lifted.
Cool completely and freeze it in a wide vessel.
When the kulfi is 3/4th freezed add to the blender and mix once and pour in kulfi moulds. Freeze it.
Serve chill.
Note : Adjust sugar as for your needs.By adding bread the kulfi will have creamy texture. This measure will yield 4 kulfis.
