INGREDIENTS:
Maida 150gms
Butter 100 gms
Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
Sugar 100 gms
Eggs 2 no
Baking powder 2 tsp
Salt a pinch
Vanilla essence 2 tsp
METHOD :
Powder the sugar. Seive baking powder, salt and maida thrice.
Seive cocoa powder separately and keep aside.
Preheat the oven @ 180*C. Grease and flour the baking tray.
Beat sugar and butter till light and fluffy. Add eggs one by one and beat till you reach a pale yellow colour.
Add essence and maida. Fold in the mixture and mix gently.
If required add milk as needed.
Now divide the batter into 2 portions.To one portion add cocoa powder and mix well.
Pour the white and brown batter randomly in the baking pan.
Bake @ 180*C for about 25 mins or till done.
Serve with tea or coffee.
